About This Treatment
Professional Dental Crowns And Bridges technician working in Fort Bliss, TX

A crown caps a damaged tooth entirely when a filling alone can't hold it together. A bridge, instead, replaces missing teeth by anchoring a false tooth to the crowns on either side of the gap. Both are custom-made to match your bite and the shade of surrounding teeth.

Some offices can design and mill a crown in a single visit using in-office equipment, cutting the traditional two-visit process down. Bridges typically still span two to three visits: preparing anchor teeth, taking impressions, and fitting the final piece.

Treatment order matters here — a crown placed over an unresolved cavity or unhealthy gumline won't hold up as well long-term. That's why a full exam and any necessary cleanup happens before impressions are taken for the final restoration.

Why Choose Us

What Makes Our Dental Crowns And Bridges in Fort Bliss, TX Different

1

Same-Day Milling Where Available

Skip the temporary-crown wait at participating locations. Not every office has the equipment, so ask specifically when you call if a single visit matters to you.

2

Material Options: Porcelain, Zirconia, Metal

Material is chosen based on tooth location, bite force, and cosmetic priority. Your provider will recommend a material rather than leaving you to guess between options.

3

Precision Bite & Shade Matching

Digital scans capture your exact bite so the restoration fits without adjustment. A poorly fitted crown causes bite problems down the line, which is why the scan step isn't skipped.

4

Non-Surgical Bridge Option

Traditional bridges use your existing healthy teeth as anchors, avoiding implant surgery when appropriate. Not every case is a fit for a bridge, and that gets flagged honestly at the consult.

FAQ

Questions Patients Ask About Dental Crowns And Bridges

Lifespan depends on material and bite habits, but a decade or more is typical.

Same-day milling is available at select offices, skipping the usual temporary-crown wait.

Crowns save a struggling tooth in place; bridges fill the gap left by one already gone.

If anchor teeth aren't strong enough, an implant-supported option may be suggested instead.

Digital scans and shade guides help the restoration blend in rather than stand out.

Cost depends on material and whether one or several teeth are involved, quoted before treatment.
